Mrs. Rivas possesses over thirteen years of experience as a certified clinical social worker that is bilingual and bicultural. She has worked with a variety of people, such as LGBTQ+, individuals with substance use issues, victims of violence and sexual assault in intimate relationships, and so on. In 2019 the Ms. Rivas is serving Erie's patients. She is currently offering telehealth Behavioral Health services. Ms. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Healthcare Perinatal team that works with postpartum and pre-natal women, offers trauma-informed therapy to adult patients and is an expert in trauma treatment. She provides individual and group therapy and the medication-assisted treatment program. Referrals for special care can also be made. Amanda serves as an Best Friends Animal Society volunteer, helping to find an appropriate home for homeless animals.
